At Your Nice Apartment we believe you can have all this and stay somewhere that is clean, comfortable and stylish too. Our ethos is that quality and style combined with a welcoming, friendly and responsive service can be affordable and good value.

Simon and Amanda, Company Directors.

"Before Your Nice Apartment we were TV Directors/Producers and began our working life at Granada Television. Our TV careers took us all over the world working on entertainment, sports, fashion and travel programmes for over 15 years. It was an amazing time so why did we change?

Our bug for travelling resulted in us taking a year out to venture round the world to some pretty amazing places and we met some pretty interesting people along the way.

After so much travelling we understood the limitations of staying in a hotel and appreciated the convenience of self catering rentals. We've always found hotels a bit impersonal, especially after a couple of nights and love the freedom of getting up for breakfast when you want, cooking if you choose, lounging on a sofa watching a DVD after a day sight seeing. We even rented an apartment for a week from a local hairdresser in Southern India so weren't tied to eating out every night and found it a great way to experience local life.

When we returned to the UK we loved the idea of spending more time in a sociable travel environment and decided it was time for a change so we started Your Nice Apartment."

Michael and Tracey, Nice Managers.

You couldn’t wish to be in better hands with Tracey and Michael at the helm. Originally from Philadelphia, USA , Michael worked for over 25 years as a building Manager and Tracey ran her own cleaning company. They now manage villas and apartments in the Nice area. Americans are renown for their impeccable customer service and Tracey and Michael sure know how to give a warm welcome with a smile.

“We both like to travel and meet new people. We spent many years exploring Mexico and Central America and lived in Costa Rica for a year building and taking care of luxury villas. We discovered Nice when exploring Europe and two years ago made the move to live here. Renting an apartment is ideal for the traveler. They're more spacious than a hotel and provide a kitchen where you can practice French cuisine with the great selection of local ingredients. Italy is only a 45 minute journey from Nice so you get the best of both worlds. With Nice having more than 300 sunny days a year you're almost guaranteed a perfect holiday.

With our previous experience it seemed like a perfect match to work in the property management industry and we’re always on hand to help with your holiday. And if you decide to buy a property on the Cote D'Azur then we have lots of advice!”.

Tracey and Michael also have a creative eye and have furnished some of the properties on our website. Victor Hugo and Isobella have benefited from a wave of their magic wand. They have a knack of making a budget go a long way and with Michaels DIY skills they can provide a great value package for property owners that don't have the time to furnish their own property and want to market it for holiday rentals as soon as possible. If you wish to make an enquiry about furnishing your property then please contact us at hello@yourniceapartment.com

Joanna, Arrivals Coordinator, Nice.

Joanna has many years experience working in the service industry. She is meticulous and has an eye for detail which comes in very handy when ensuring your accommodation is well prepared and you are well looked after on your arrival. After graduating from college she worked as a teacher and accountant in her home country Poland.

“ The need for a change made me leave to study English in London. I went for a year and loved it so much that I stayed over six years.

I worked in many restaurants as a waitress, supervisor and finally Restaurant Manager. I loved catering, working in a busy environment with many people from all over the world providing great customer service.

Then I met this French guy and came to see his hometown, Nice. Exactly one year after that I found myself moving here. I think Nice is a great place to live and to spend holidays. There is great weather for more than 7 months a year, beautiful sea and close to the Alpes, Italy and Corse, delicious 'cuisine'. There's just so many beautiful places to visit around.

I love traveling myself and I think that renting an apartment for your holiday gives you more freedom and "at home" feeling at the same time. I think that our apartments are in great locations that make it very easy to explore Nice and the whole Côte D'Azur”.

Many of you will meet Joanna on your arrival in Nice and we are proud to have her as part of the Your Nice Apartment team.

Julie Folis, Arrivals Coordinator

The Irish are renown for their hospitality and Julie is a testament to this. After traveling around the world through Australia and Asia she discovered Nice and worked as a stewardess on large luxury yachts where providing excellent service is a must.

“I fell in love with Nice 15 years ago The favorite part of my job is meeting the guests. They’re always a good crack and it’s great sharing my knowledge of the Riviera. It’s my home and I love it. Nice is really special to me as I discovered my voice here. I met some buskers and started to sing with them. Eventually I joined a band and we traveled all over the United and States and Europe. The highlight was singing with Madeline Peru at the Barbican in London. I would describe my style as jazz, swing, jive and blues”.

Julie may only be a wee lass but she sure has a big voice. You can see her sing with her band the Boogeymen at Master Home bar on Rue de la Prefecture in the Old Town every Sunday and Friday from 7pm til 11. Sitting on the terrace enjoying a tipple whilst listening to her amazing voice is a must do.

If Julie is doing your meet and greet then she’s great at helping you get the best out your the stay. And, if you love music she’s always in the know and can tell you the best places to go. One of our guests benefited from Julies Irish charm and generosity when she bagged them two tickets to the vintage grand prix which was sold out. The tickets were supposed to goto George Michael’s gardener!!
