You’re 4 blocks back from the beach and within sight of the famous Negresco hotel on the main Promenade. Walk along the Promenade or choose to stroll through the smaller streets with pave side cafés and restaurants. A 15 minute walk and you’ll eventually arrive at Place Masséna across from which you’ll find Nice's famous Old Town. This is a central location to enjoy this varied and lively city.

Parking
Free parking in Nice can be difficult to find. There is a pay as you go car park at Palais Masséna at 29 Promenade des Anglais or Palais de la Méditerranée on Rue du Congres. Go to www.plan-nice.org for a map of all car parks in Nice.
Public Transport
From the airport, take the 98 bus and get off at the Negresco Hotel on the Promenade Des Anglais. Turn left into Rue De Rivoli. Gare SNCF Nice Ville train station is a good 15 minute walk. But you can use the tram. Tram stops are every 450 metres and the train station is less than a 5 minute journey on the tram. All tram prices are 1 euro. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rivoli. We found being in the residential area meant is was quieter than the Old Town so it was nice to spend evenings in the Old town and then sleep in peace and quiet. It was also nice to be close to the beach and in such an swish area. Would definitely choose this part of Nice again.
