The décor is simple, comfortable and stylish and the air conditioning is a blessing in the summer. Neighbourhood
The area of Carré d'Or is one of the most prestigious neighbourhoods in Nice and is in a wonderfully central location. The main shopping area of Jean Médecin and the pedestrian zone are right outside your door. An array of restaurants, both modern and traditional is on your doorstep and the more tourist centre of the Old Town is a few minutes walk away. The beach and promenade are a couple of minutes away by foot and public transport is excellent and within close proximity.

1 double bedroom is at the rear of the apartment so you are ensured a good nights sleep.

Parking
Free parking in Nice can be difficult to find. There is a pay as you go underground car park Grimaldi on Rue Maccarani. Go to www.plan-nice.org for a map of all car parks in Nice.
Public Transport
If arriving on the 98 airport bus, your closest bus stop is 'Congrès/Promenade' opposite hotel 'Palais de la Méditerranée' on Promenade des Anglais. Gare Routière bus station is approximately a 10 minute walk away. Gare SNCF Nice Ville train station is a 10 minute walk. If you are using the tram your nearest stop is 'Masséna' outside of Galeries Lafayette department store. Visit www.lignesdazur.com for more information. Taxi rank Hotel Meridien is closest and is opposite McDonald’s at the Hotel Meridien. Taxis can pick up/drop off at your request at your rental apartment.

The total price of this apartment includes crisp white Egyptian cotton linen for one double bed and fluffy cotton towels for 2 people. If you require extra linen and towels for the sofa bed there is an extra 30€ charge.

If you love ice cream and chocolate then you have to go to Amorino – Gelato Italiano. This high end chocolate ice cream shop is way too good to miss. It’s on the pedestrian zone so from your apartment head across the main square, vear right and it’s on the left handside. They have a large selection of flavours, but chocolate is their speciality. If you’re feeling brave then try socaccina - an ice cream sandwich.

I stayed here whilst competing in the Nice Iron Man contest and the apartment was a real help. Great location, close to the start and finish on the promenade and also well equipped with everything I needed. The bedroom was very quiet and allowed me to get a good nights sleep.
