Neighbourhood
Set in the heart of the Nice’s picturesque Old Town, Rue de la Préfecture is a bustling little street packed with restaurants, boutique shops and bars. This really is the central hub of the old town and from here the promenade and beach is only 2 minutes walk away. Around the corner the breathtaking Place du Palais is a wonderful square with an ornate fountain set outside the halls of justice surrounded by fantastic Niçoise restaurants and a weekly market selling books and art.
Bedrooms
Stylish double bedroom. Two fitted wardrobes provide plenty of storage space whilst a window looks out into the atrium and the chandelier adds contemporary feel.

The en-suite bathroom is fully tiled with a full sized bath and overhead shower, sink unit and toilet.
Living Area
The open plan main living area is light and tiled with a leather sofa bed suitable for two people. There is a 16” LCD TV (French channels only) and DVD player and a CD player with a selection of DVDs provided.
Kitchen
The kitchen has a 4 ring hob and electric oven, plus a full size standing fridge-freezer. There is also a 2 seater oak breakfast bar on which to enjoy warm croissants in the morning. The kitchen is also equipped with a kettle, toaster, and cafetière.
Dining Area
The dining area has a fabulous 4 seater glass dining table with 3 glass chandeliers adding a touch of glamour whilst you dine.
Parking
Free parking in Nice can be difficult to find. There is a pay as you go underground car park at the Place du Palais, the entrance is on Rue Alexandre Mari. There is also one on the Cours Saleya, the entrance is on Rue Saint François de Paule. Go to www.plan-nice.org for a map of all car parks in Nice.
Public Transport
The 98 airport bus runs from the Airport through the centre of Nice and terminates in the Port. Bus stop 'Cathédrale - Vieille Ville' is your nearest bus stop. Gare SNCF Nice Ville train station is a good 20 minute walk. But you can use the tram. Tram stop 'Opéra' is your closest stop. This is at the bottom of Rue de la Préfecture on Avenue Jean Jaurès. It is less than a 5 minute journey to the train station. Visit www.lignesdazur.com for more information. Taxi rank Hotel Meridien is closest and is opposite McDonald’s at the Hotel Meridien. Taxis can also pick up/drop off at your request at Place du Palais, very close to your rental apartment.

The total price of this apartment includes crisp white Egyptian cotton linen for one double bed and fluffy cotton towels for 2 people. If you require extra linen and towels for the sofa bed there is an extra 30€ charge.

Go out of your front door and on one side you have one of the best caves (wine cellar) in Nice, the other side is a great place to buy a picnic. Caves Capriocelli on Rue de la Préfecture sells several hundreds of bottles so you’ll be spoilt for choice.
