Neighbourhood
This peaceful and relaxing complex is 500 m from a quiet pebble beach via a private street at the rear of the complex, this is approx a 6 minute walk. Please note this is not the main beach and there is no promenade. This can be found in central Antibes. Val Claret is in an relaxing residential location but is close enough to enjoy everything Antibes has on offer. It is a 25 minute walk or a 5 minute drive to Vieux Antibes with its restaurants, cafes and brasseries. 5 minutes walk away is a local bakery and 5 minutes beyond is a small commercial area. This includes bakery, tabac, post office, chemist, fruit & veg shop. Beside this area is a Petit Casino Supermarket which is great for doing a reasonable shop. There are no shops or restaurants within the complex.
Bedrooms
The main bedroom has a double bed and French windows lead out onto a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The second bedroom has twin beds. Both rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, fitted wardrobes and electric shutters.
Bathrooms
The bathroom is equipped with a bath and shower above and has a large a vanity unit and mirror. The WC is separate and has a hand basin.
Living Area
The open plan main living area is light and modern and benefits from air-conditioning, a large leather corner sofa, LCD TV with Sky channels (English, Irish & French), Internet access and a DVD player. French doors lead out onto the large, sunny balcony. Electric shutters can be used in the evenings. Kitchen
The brand new modern kitchen with brushed steel appliances has an electric oven and 4 ring electric hob, microwave, large fridge-freezer, washing machine. It is fully equipped with kettle, cafetière, a large selection of crockery and utensils plus wine and champagne glasses.
Dining Area
Eat outside on the large sunny terrace. Or dip inside to the glass top table and seating for four.
Parking
There are 2 designated, secure parking spaces - one in the underground car park and one above ground within the complex.
Public Transport
The number 200 bus will take you between Nice – Antibes – Cannes. There are a number of bus stops on the main road (Ave de Nice). Closest to the apartment is stop ‘Petit Four’ or ‘Val Claret’. There is a FREE bus every 20 minutes from your complex to Antibes centre. It has pink stripes and is called the ENVIBUS. Gare Routière bus station is approximately a 20-25 minute walk away. Gare Antibes train station is approximately a 15 minute walk. There is an AVIS hire car service at the train station.

There is a fantastic restaurant in Antibes old town call 'Le Brulot'. There's a small area upstairs with seating which is manic and great fun, plus a cavern style downstairs that's a little larger. The atmosphere, food and service is brilliant. It's very busy and you may have to book but it is worth it for the experience. (3 Rue Frederic Isnard, Antibes)

Had a wonderful girls weekend recently in this lovely apartment. Complex is quiet and beautifully kept. Apartment is brand new and spotless! Location proved to be very central and we had trips to Cannes and Nice as well as Antibes Old Town. The big treat was a very posh Sunday Lunch at Chateau Saint-Martin & Spa in Vence (30 miles away). Will definetely be back to apartment Orange Grove.
