Neighbourhood
Carré d'Or is a vibrant area of Nice which is in part pedestrianised. You’re one block back from the beach and the famous Negresco hotel. Walk down Rue de France and the street soon gets busier with paveside cafés and restaurants and boutique and designer shops. A 5 minute walk and you’ll eventually arrive at Place Masséna, across from which you’ll find the famous Old Town. This is a central location to enjoy this varied and lively city.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, large wardrobe and antique dressing table and ceiling fan. There is a comfortable double bedroom also with ceiling fan.

The stylish shower room has a tradtional feel to it with shower cubicle, sink, bidet and toilet.
Living Area
The living area has a stunning parquet floor, modern 3 seater sofa, casual chair, writing desk and large entertainment unit housing a 26” LCD TV (with English news and French channels) with integrated DVD player, Internet, CD player and selection of DVDs and CDs for you to enjoy. (Please note that we cannot be held responsible for the disruption of internet access caused by internet providers) The ceiling fan is ornamental in this room and there is a floor fan provided.
Kitchen
The separate kitchen is small but surprisingly well equipped with a 3 ring gas hob, electric combination oven/grill, integrated fridge-freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, cafetière and a good selection of cooking equipment.

The living area has a lovely round oak dining table and chairs for 4.
Parking
Free parking in Nice can be difficult to find. There is a pay as you go car park at Palais Masséna at 29 Promenade des Anglais or Palais de la Méditerranée on Rue du Congres. Go to www.plan-nice.org for a map of all car parks in Nice.
Public Transport
If arriving on the 98 bus your nearest bus stop is 'Congrès/Promenade' outside the hotel 'Palais de la Méditerranée' on Promenade des Anglais. Gare SNCF Nice Ville train station is a good 15 minute walk. But you can use the tram. Tram stop 'Masséna' is your closest stop and is a 5 minute walk to/ from the apartment. Taxi rank Hotel Meridien is closest and is opposite McDonald’s at the Hotel Meridien, a 5 minute walk from Your Nice Apartment.

The hotel Negresco is just around the corner. Much more than a hotel it has been awarded museum status and is decorated with a creative fairytale like flair and houses magnificent art work. You are at liberty to wander around the hotel to admire its elegant and eccentric style.

Had a wonderful holiday in the 'Victoria' apartment. Comfortable and nice with internet access which kept the girls quiet in the evening. Very close to shops and the beach and in a quiet location. We will be coming back to Nice in the future. Thank you.
