Lucy is a lovely one bedroom apartment in a superb belle époque building situated on Boulevard Victor Hugo, right in the centre of Nice. It has a cosy boutique feel and is perfect for a city getaway as it is close to many shops and restaurants and four blocks back from the beach. Neighbourhood
Boulevard Victor Hugo is a wealthy area full of some of the finest hotels in Nice, which makes this apartment incredible value in comparison to its neighbouring accommodation. You are a 10 minute walk away from the main high street Avenue Jean Médecin and shopping in two of the best food halls in Nice. You will find yourself four blocks back from the beach and near the pedestrian zone with many restaurants and shops and the famous Negresco hotel. The Old Town is approximately a 15 minute walk.
Bedrooms
The bedroom has a double bed and large French windows with a Juliette balcony. There is a wardrobe with adequate storage space and the bathroom is ensuite.
Bathrooms
The ensuite bathroom has modern finishings with a large vanity sink and full size bath with overhead shower attachment. There is a separate WC leading off from the main living area.
Living Area
The open plan living area has dark wooden floors, a cool white leather sofa, a 28” television (English news and French channels), internet access and DVD player.
Kitchen
The kitchen is compact and well equipped. There is a washing machine, large fridge-freezer, electric four ring hob and combination oven and grill, extractor fan, kettle and cafetière.
Dining Area
There is a high bistro table with two chairs for dining and these can be placed by the French doors so you can enjoy the Juliette balcony if you wish. (Please note a juliette balcony is not wide enough to sit on and is designed as a viewing balcony)
Parking
Free parking in Nice can be difficult to find. There is a pay as you go car park at Parking Palmeira at 47 Rue Saint Phillippe. Go to www.plan-nice.org for a map of all car parks in Nice.
Public Transport
Your nearest bus stop is the 'Gambetta' stop on Promenade des Anglais. Gare SNCF Nice Ville train station is a 10 minute walk. Gare Routière bus station is aproximately a 20 minute walk away. If you wish to use the tram your nearest stop is Place Masséna outside of Galeries Lafayette department store. Visit www.lignesdazur.com for more information. The park opposite Lucy on Rue Guiglia is a peaceful little sun trap, ideal for a quiet lunch in the sun or simply somewhere to sit down with a book and relax.

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment which is in a great location close to the shops and the beach. The apartment had everything we needed and the service was first class. We will be back to Nice next year for another great and relaxing holiday!!
