Neighbourhood
Walk out of your apartment door and explore the maze of narrow cobbled streets overflowing with the finest pasta and ice cream vendors, patisseries, boulangeries, boutiques, bistros. The Old Town is one of the most popular areas of Nice and you’ll find yourself only a few minutes walk away from one if its major land marks, the Cours Saleya and the famous marketplace selling local fresh produce, flowers and antiques on Mondays. The beach and promenade are just a few steps further.
Bedrooms
The master bedroom is at the front of the apartment and has a double bed with wicker frame and large double wardrobe with full length mirror. The second bedroom also has a double bed and clothes rail unit. This bedroom has no window.
Bathrooms
The modern shower room has a shower cubicle, tiled vanity unit, towel radiator and toilet.
Living Area
The open plan living area has a light wooden floor, a comfortable sofa and a 28” LCD TV (English news and French channels), DVD player and internet. There is a portable air conditioning unit. (Please note we cannot be held responsible for disruption of internet service form the provider)
Kitchen
The modern cream kitchen has a 4 ring electric hob & combination oven/ grill, there is a large fridge freezer, a washing machine, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and cafetière.
Dining Area
The dining area has a glass table that can extend to seat six people.
Parking
Free parking in Nice can be difficult to find. There is a pay as you go underground carpark at the Place du Palais, the entrance is on Rue Alexandre Mari. There is also one on Avenue Jean Jaurès called Promenade du Paillon. Go to www.plan-nice.org for a map of all car parks in Nice.
Public Transport
The 98 airport bus runs from the Airport through the centre of Nice and terminates in the Port. Bus stop 'Cathédrale - Vieille Ville' is your nearest bus stop, few steps from your apartment. Gare SNCF Nice Ville train station is a good 20 minute walk. But you can use the tram. Tram stop 'Cathédrale' is your closest stop. It is a 5 minute journey to the train station. Visit www.lignesdazur.com for more information. Taxi rank Hotel Meridien is closest and is opposite McDonald’s at the Hotel Meridien. Taxis can also pick up/drop off at your request at Place du Palais very close to your rental apartment.
Linen
The total price of this apartment includes crisp white Egyptian cotton linen for two double beds and fluffy cotton towels for four people. If you require extra linen and towels for the sofa bed there is an extra 30€ charge.
