Neighbourhood
Cimiez is a very wealthy area close to the centre of Nice. It is peaceful and full of grandiose buildings such as the grand Regina Palace. The Regina has every amenity in Cimiez at its finger tips including the beautiful Cimiez park with the Matisse museum, monastery and gardens. The Chagall museum is just down the road and there is a superb supermarket, Monoprix a 2 minute walk away plus local restaurants, pharmacy and post office. This is an ideal area to stay if you want a peaceful base with all modern conveniences within your apartment and the area. A quick and convenient bus ride takes you into Nice centre (buses run until 9pm).
Bedrooms
Stairs lead up to the mezzanine bedroom with a double bed and cleverly fitted wardrobe and drawer space. (Please note the bedroom is not full height)
Bathrooms
The superb shower room is decorated in slate grey tiles and pure white with a walk-in shower, vanity sink unit, washing machine, towel radiator and toilet.
Living Area
The open plan living area may be small but it is cleverly designed maximising space to include more amenities than a large apartment. There is a high quality leather sofa bed, the coffee table raises to form the dining table, there are spotlights throughout creating a light bright environment and lamps for use when you want to create ambience. There is a 38" flat screen TV, DVD player, internet, radio/MP3 player and selection of books and DVDs for you to enjoy.
Kitchen
You will want for nothing in the crisp, clean looking open plan diner kitchen with small breakfast bar. At your disposal is a four ring electric hob, combination oven/grill/microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. This is a great kitchen to cook in and with a superb supermarket across the road you don't have to spend money on eating out. Don't forget you can also use the barbeque and picnic area!

There is a small breakfast bar and table that can seat four.
Parking
There is plenty of parking spaces outside the Regina complex. Please note these are not allocated.
Public Transport
The number 22 bus stop is directly outside the complex and within 5 minutes this takes you to the centre of town and a couple of minutes walk to the Old Town and bus station. The meeting point with your arrivals coordinator is at the Regina complex only. A taxi from the airport should cost around 30-35€. If you wish to arrive by bus you will need to catch the 99 shuttle bus from the airport and get off at its terminus, Gare SNCF (Nice main train station) stop. Then change for bus number 17 going towards 'Monastere/Cimiez' and get off by the Regina at the 'Arènes / Musée Matisse' bus stop. Visit www.lignesdazur.com for more information. If you choose to walk, Nice central train station is a 10/15 minute walk and the town centre is a 20-25 minute walk. Taxis can pick up and drop off outside the Regina building.
Linen
The total price of this apartment includes crisp white Egyptian cotton linen for one double bed and fluffy cotton towels for two people. If you require extra linen and towels for the sofa bed there is an extra 30 € charge.

The welcome was efficiently handled.
The small modern converted apartment was cleverly designed to allow two people to live with all the comforts required on holiday.
Located in an "up-market" area of Nice close to public transport and the Matisse museum. The location of the swimming pool was excellent, and style of the old Hotel was intriguing with its connection to Queen Victoria.
Our holiday was enhanced by the efficient and helpful service of the representative of "Your Nice appartment.com" when a visit to a doctor was needed.
