Neighbourhood
Nestled on a small street in the Old Town with the Cours Saleya flower, food and antique market just 30 steps away. A few seconds further and you can be on the beach and bathing in the turquoise blue French Mediterranean sea. Head in the other direction and the immediate streets are bursting with local life and restaurants, cafés, ice cream parlours and brasseries.

Kitchen
You're right next to the daily marketplace, so if you don't want to spend money on expensive lunches then you can easily walk across the road from the beach, pick up some fresh produce from the market and rustle up a nice lunch in your apartment. This is primarily a holiday kitchenette designed for holiday cooking. There is a 2 ring electric hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle and a variety of utensils and cooking ware including a cafetière.

Parking
Free parking in Nice can be difficult to find. There is a pay as you go underground carpark at the Place du Palais, the entrance is on Rue Alexandre Mari. There is also one on the Cours Saleya, the entrance is on Rue Sainte François de Paule. Go to www.plan-nice.org for a map of all car parks in Nice.
Public Transport
The 98 airport bus runs from the Airport through the centre of Nice and terminates in the Port. Bus stop 'Cathédrale - Vieille Ville' is your nearest bus stop. Gare SNCF Nice Ville train station is a good 20 minute walk. But you can use the tram. Tram stop 'Opéra' is your closest stop. This is at the bottom of Rue de la Préfecture on Avenue Jean Jaurès. It is less than a 5 minute journey to the train station. Visit www.lignesdazur.com for more information. Taxi rank Hotel Meridien is closest and is opposite McDonald’s at the Hotel Meridien. Taxis can also pick up/drop off at your request at Place du Palais, very close to your rental apartment.

The total price of this apartment includes crisp white Egyptian cotton linen for one king size bed and fluffy cotton towels for 2 people. If you require extra linen and towels for the sofa bed there is an extra 30 € charge.

For breakfast or lunch try 'La Banane' just round the corner in Rue de la Poissonnerie. It's a very relaxed snack bar that serves a selection of paninis, pan bagnat (a Niçois sandwich with tuna salad), salads, croque monsieur and salted or sweet pancake dishes (our favourite: banana, chocolate and whipped cream pancake - delicious!!!)
