This two bedroom apartment has been renovated in high quality Italian finishings and is modern, spacious and stylishly and comfortably decorated for an award winning stay.
Neighbourhood
Walk out of your apartment door and explore the maze of narrow cobbled streets overflowing with the finest pasta and ice cream vendors, patisseries, boulangeries, boutiques, bistros. The Old Town is one of the most popular areas of Nice and you’ll find yourself only a few minutes walk away from one if its major land marks, the Cours Saleya and its famous marketplace selling local fresh produce, flowers and antiques on Mondays. The beach and promenade are just a few steps further.
Bedrooms
There are two bedrooms with fabulous en suite bathrooms. A double room lies at the rear of the apartment and there is a twin room at the front of the apartment, both with very comfortable beds and double glazing.
Bathrooms
The double room has an en suite bathroom with full bath and large vanity unit decorated in stone tiles. The twin room has an en suite walk-in shower room decorated in stunning stone mosaic tiles with a large feature vanity unit. There is one separate WC situated in the hallway.
Living Area
The entire living area looks out at heart stopping views of the cathedral. We don't even think you need a balcony in this apartment - just throw open the large French windows and soak up the view. There are wooden floors throughout giving a light warm contemporary feel and there is double glazing throughout. There are two comfortable sofas and a 32" wide screen LCD TV with surround sound speakers, DVD player and CD player. There is also internet access and English speaking news channels.(Please note that we cannot be held responsible for the disruption of internet access caused by internet providers)
Kitchen
The Italian designed kitchen is modern and perfect for cooking up a feast from the local market place. There is a four ring electric hob, combination oven/grill, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster and cafetière.
Dining Area
The open plan dining area has a dining table that can seat six people, and you can eat whilst enjoying one of the best views in Nice.
Parking
Free parking in Nice can be difficult to find. There is a pay as you go underground carpark at the Place du Palais, the entrance is on Rue Alexandre Mari. There is also one on Avenue Jean Jaurès called Promenade du Paillon. Go to www.plan-nice.org for a map of all car parks in Nice.
Public Transport
The 98 airport bus runs from the Airport through the centre of Nice and terminates in the Port. Bus stop 'Cathédrale - Vieille Ville' is your nearest bus stop. Gare SNCF Nice Ville train station is a good 20 minute walk. But you can use the tram. Tram stop 'Cathédrale' is your closest stop. It is a 5 minute journey to the train station. Visit www.lignesdazur.com for more information. Taxi rank Hotel Meridien is closest and is opposite McDonald’s at the Hotel Meridien. Taxis can also pick up/drop off at your request at Place du Palais, very close to your rental apartment.

The total price of this apartment includes crisp white Egyptian cotton linen for one double bed and two single beds and fluffy cotton towels for 4 people. If you require extra linen and towels for the sofa bed there is an extra 30 € charge.

The freshest best value home cooked tapas and meals are available in a small gastro pub around the corner. Turn right outside your apartment door and turn right again and continue up Rue Rossetti. 'The Snug & Cellar' is on the left and it prides itself on using the freshest ingredients from local producers and fishermen. The tapas menu changes daily and there is no freezer or microwaves here. The tapas is 5.90€ per dish (and one can suffice!) or 9.90€ for soup de jour, a tapas dish of your choice and a drink. Sunday lunches in here are a force to be reckoned with and the place is bustling with French who cannot get enough of the cooking. The staff are a global mix and French & English are spoken with pleasure. There is a cave downstairs that has occasional live music at night.

This apartment is all we could have asked for. The views from the window were more special than we imagined. We were in the heart of everything and only had to walk out of our door to experience Nice life with wonderful restaurants and shops. The beach is very close by and we shopped almost daily at the market place. The bathrooms are of a very high standard and there was enough space for 5 of us (4 adults and one child on the sofabed) so we could relax in the apartment. We will recommend this apartment to our friends and family.
