Moulin is a cost-effective option for families and friends who want to enjoy precious Port side views and a balcony. Moulin is set back one block back from the Port side so is quieter but still has great views because of the low buildings in front. Its kitchen is well equipped and the living area is well furnished for four people. Two quiet bedrooms at the rear ensure you will have a lovely base to stay for an affordable price.
Neighbourhood
The Port is the place to go if you’re in the know. It has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, a good selection of restaurants and everyone comes here to relax over a drink at the end of the day to watch the sunset. The Old Town is very close within a 10 minute walk so you can enjoy the more tourist centre of Nice. There are lots of excellent local shops and a supermarket close-by. The main number 100 bus route goes through the Port on its way to Monaco and the border of Italy and there is a train station 15 minutes walk from here.
Bedrooms
Both rooms are at the quieter rear of the apartment. There is a double and a twin room, both with wardrobes.

The bathroom has a walk in shower, vanity sink unit, toilet and radiator.
Living Area
The open plan living area has a large corner sofa bed and easy chair providing comfortable seating for four people. There is a TV with French channels and DVD player. There are French doors leading out onto the balcony with table and chairs for two.
Kitchen
The kitchen is well equipped with a four ring electric hob, combination oven/ grill, microwave, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster and cafetière.
Dining Area
There is a dining table that seats four people.
Parking
The Port is the only place where free parking is a little easier to find. Turn onto Boulevard Stalingrad and drive towards the sea and you can find free parking spaces.
Public Transport
The 98 airport bus runs from the Airport through the centre of Nice and terminates in the Port, by the Riquier train station. Bus stop 'Le Port' is your nearest meeting bus stop. Visit www.lignesdazur.com for more information. Riquier train station is a 15 minute walk away and you can take trains in the direction of Monaco, Italy or Cannes and Grasse. Taxis can pick up/drop off close to your apartment on Quai Emmanuelle.
Linen
The total price of this apartment includes crisp white Egyptian cotton linen for one double and two single beds and fluffy cotton towels for 4 people. If you require extra linen and towels for the sofa bed there is an extra 30 € charge.

'L'escala' is a really good moules frites restaurant with huge servings of mussels and chunky chips that come with an array of sauces form traditional mariniere to mustard to blue cheese or even curry. They serve pizzas, pastas and typical French cuisine as well. But it's the mussels that everyone comes here for. Go down the steps outside of your apartment and turn left. It is on the portside a 100m walk away.
Tina and Jason Heath
We were very happy with our choice of apartment. It was in a lovely location by the Port and the view from the balcony was terrific. The sofa and beds were very comfortable. We have a 6 month old so stayed in many evenings and really felt at home. The restaurants close by were great and we enjoyed a glass of early evening wine looking out at all the big yachts. We felt as if we got a lot for our money at this apartment.
