Neighbourhood
The Port and the lower Mont Boron are quickly becoming the coolest places to be. This is where you will find the best Nicoise and seafood restaurants in the region, many with an exceptional view onto the Old Port where traditional, colourful fishing boats are moored besides the mega Yachts of the super rich. This is also an ideal base from which to visit the many idyllic fishermans villages and great beaches laying between Nice and the Italian border not to mention its only 20 minute bus ride to Monaco. The 100 bus will take you there and the 81 bus will take you to the billionaires peninsula of St Jean Cap Ferat or the stunning bay of Villefranche in only 15 minutes. The Old Town of Nice with its busy restaurants and bustling streets is only a 10 minute walk away so even though you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of Mai you are close to all the attractions Nice has to offer.

Each bedroom also has a fully equipped bathroom close to their entrance.The main bed room has a king-sized bed and lots of storage room as well as a ceiling fan above the bed. The second bed room has two single beds as well as an office /vanity unit and some storage.

Public Transport
There is a bus stop about 100 meters from the apartment with several bus lines taking you to different locations in Nice or to Monaco and other coastal cities in the opposite direction. The port area is within a few minutes’ walk and is a central point for a variety of different bus routes. There is approx a 15 minute walk to Riquier train station with trains going to Monaco, Cannes, Italy etc. To go from or to the airport you have a airport bus ( no 98) that starts and ends in the Port. There are also inexpensive tourist boats going as far as Saint Tropez leaving from the Port area.

Approx 5 miinute walk from the apartment, just beside the club Nautique is a small pebbled beach called Coco beach. This is usually used by the locals and is ideal for sunbathing and swimming in the azure waters of the Med.
