Carre D'or, Gambetta, Musicians
Carré D'or Carré d'or (the golden square) is considered one of the most prestigious neighbourhoods in Nice. It boasts the famous Hotel Negresco, one of the few privately owned palaces in the world that is also classified a National Historic Monument. Carre d'or is also the designer district and is home to boutiques stocking Armani to Gucci plus a whole range of shops selling up and coming designer labels. The pedestrian zone is more tourist led and some of the eating establishments represent this. We’d recommend to sticking to the smaller side streets for more interesting modern French eateries and internationally inspired cuisine. Gambetta This area rubs shoulders with the Carré D'Or and Musiciens and is popular with locals and tourists alike for its proximity to the beaches whilst being just out of the hustle and bustle of central Nice. Situated to the west of the city centre, Gambetta stretches from the seafront to the express way, and from the lively thoroughfare of Bld Gambetta on the east to Bld Grosso to the west. The larger boulevards offer the advantages of shops, supermarkets and regular local buses. Musicians The Quartier des Musiciens (Musician's Quarter) takes its charming name from the numerous composers honoured with a street name in this area which was predominantly constructed in the late 19th century on what was previously kitchen gardens. It features some of the most elegant examples of Belle Epoque architecture in Nice and today is a well-maintained, quiet residential area in the centre of the city. You'll find local boulangeries, shops and cafés on your doorstep, Jardin Alsace-Lorraine and Place Mozart for a stroll under the palm trees, and entertainment galore just minutes from your apartment.

This apartment is perfect for a short break in Nice and is centrally located one block black from the famous Negresco hotel. The balcony is small but lovely and it was a real treat to sit with a nice glass of wine from the welcome pack and watch the world go by below. The facilities in the apartment are great. There is a high quality sofa bed which we used and is a good idea for friends travelling together. The washing machine came in handy too. Next door is a Cuban bar which had an amazing atmosphere, dancing and fabulous food. Rose was a perfect base from which to explore Nice and we will be returning soon for another trip as soon as we can.

We loved the place. The location was great - easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and everything you need within a block. The balcony was perfect for watching people on the street and the apartment was clean, comfortable and complete. We were met at our convenience on check in and the manager gave us great information about the city and answered all our questions. We would (will) go back without hesitation.
This was our third stay in the Carre d'Or area of Nice which we love for its restaurants and proximity to the Promenade des anglais. Rose is perfectly placed on the Rue de France with a small balcony overlooking the street where we could have breakfast watching the world go by. It is plenty big enough for two people and well appointed without being over lavish. All in all a location I could thoroughly recommend.
Stayed here for 5 days in May for the Monaco Grand Prix. Loved the apartment, clean and modern, great bakery across the street and loved sitting on balcony for breakfast in the sun.

I really recommend this apartment for those who wish to stay in Nice. The apartment is equipped with all your requirements from A/C to hair dryer while the furniture is modern and new. The location is good as well, as the apartment is located on the lively rue du France ,however, it can get noisy at night especially at the weekends. Madame Desgranges the apartment manager was very supportive and helped me resolve all issues I had in timely manner. Regards, Ahmed Al Ameiry

We had a great stay at the Rose apartment in Nice at the end of September. The location was everything we could have hoped for, being on such a vibrant street and so close to so many cafes, bars, shops and the pedestrian mall further up the street. It was great to have a bit more room than the normal hotel room and being able to pick up groceries to do a bit of our own cooking was a real bonus. Sitting out on the balcony, wine glass in hand, looking at the daily passing parade, there is nothing better than that!

The apartment is neat and spacious, beautiful decor and wonderful facilities. It was clean and accurately conveyed in the profile pictures. The manager was very welcoming and helpful. The location was perfect, mins from the beach and vast activities, as well as the local shops, town centre, vibrant nightlife and the train station. I would recommend this apartment and this beautiful and welcoming setting to anyone."

YNA were fabulous! I highly recommend renting an apartment from them! This one was very nice, perfect for what we needed. It's in the heart of the pedestrian zone, you have tons of restaurants and are within walking distance of the beach and Old Town. Loved it!

I have recently returned from two weeks in Nice, staying at Apartment Rose on the Rue de France. The apartment is in a great location, very central with masses of restaurants, bars and shops all around, and is extremely comfortable with all mod cons and a great TV to veg out in front of after all that sightseeing. The YNA team are charming and could not have been more helpful.
