In June the French Riveria and Nice comes alive with an event that puts hairs on the chest of most sports lovers.
This event is pure class and is a MUST-SEE for tourists, locals and anyone who happes to be in the area.

It’s LIVE, it’s televised and it’s a one in a million top-class event. It’s IRON MAN FRANCE.

First the highly trained, highly skilled competitors take a dip for an arduous 2.4mile swim. This is followed by an unforgettable, scenic but very hilly 112 mile bike ride, topped off 26.2 mile marathon that takes place along the scenic and famous Nice beach-front

The finish is worth the wait with fireworks and crowds gathering at the Promenade des Anglais (avenue de Verdun) opposite the Hotel Meridien.
