If you love food then you will have a feast of a time at the food festival at Nice Port.

Held on September the 4th this year this is the 7th Lou Festin dou Pouort festival and it is a foodie extravaganza. Stalls sell local delicacies from Fois gras baguettes, truffles to local wine. There is a sit down dining area where local chefs from the French Riviera region cook up sample menus with their signature dishes. Queue for as many different dishes as you wish and enjoy your fine food at shared tables. It's a great way to enjoy food and drink with the locals of NIce. 

Prices are excellent and it’s a great chance to sample lots of dishes from the region. Our tip is to get there early at 7am and queue as the food from the local chefs dining area sells out fast.

This is also the perfect way to celebrate the completion of the Ports transformation with the promenade now reaching all the way to the harbour side. There is also live music, local bands and a magnificent firework display at 10.30pm.
